We have two roles open in the Parent Club organization today, and will have more openings for various smaller jobs throughout the year. If you're a new family to North Star, don't be afraid to dig into one of these roles. The earlier you start, the bigger your impact. :)

Purpose: Help ensure that meetings run smoothly, fairly, and according to our bylaws and established parliamentary procedures. The person in this role should be willing to take over as parliamentarian as the existing parliamentarian exits the role.
Responsibilities:
Serve alongside the Parliamentarian to advise the board on meeting procedures.
Help the presiding officer maintain orderly and productive meetings.
Be familiar with the organization’s bylaws, standing rules, and applicable parliamentary procedures.
Provide guidance on motions, voting procedures, agendas, and other procedural questions.
Help ensure that all members have a fair opportunity to participate.
